The January 22 episode of AEW Dynamite rolled into Knoxville, Tennessee’s Knoxville Collision this week. There were a few notable things during the two-hour show, including Kenny Omega and Will Ospreay having a moment in the ring.

Will Ospreay and Kenny Omega met face-to-face in an intense segment this week during Dynamite. This matchup seems destined to go down in once again AEW.

Ospreay and Omega had another face-to-face moment during the January 8 episode of AEW Dynamite. Although they have locked up outside AEW, the two have yet to face each other in Tony Khan’s company yet.

This segment kicked off Dynamite as Tony Schiavone introduced both of them. Will Ospreay made it clear that he has nothing to do with the Don Callis Family right now. He also said that he’s been trying to get to the AEW World Title, but the Callis Family keeps getting in his way.

Kenny Omega brought up the last time he was in the ring with Ospreay, when he was dropped on his head at Forbidden Door. Omega made it clear that he still thinks he’s better than Ospreay, and he will never trust him.

At that time, Don Callis came out and Omega ran after him. Then Takeshita cut Omega off, and he beat the Cleaner down. Then Ospreay ran down to help Omega as Kyle Fletcher joined the assault against Omega.

The action continued in the ring, where Omega knocked Takeshita out of the ring, and then he went for his Terminator Dive, but Fletcher kicked him in the face to stop him. They ended up fighting in the crowd as Lance Archer joined the fight against Ospreay.

Brian Cage showed up too, as he picked up Omega, but Ospreay fought him off. Then Ospreay and Lance Archer starting fighting around a merchandise booth. Archer almost hit a double chokeslam on Omega and Ospreay, but they fought him off and put Archer through a table together with teamwork.

The melee continued as Fletcher and Cage double teamed Ospreay. Then Ospreay climbed up a wall to get away as Omega scaled a lighting truss as well. Then Omega dove off as Ospreay jumped off a balcony onto the Don Callis Family.

The AEW fans chanted “holy sh*t” as Ospreay and Omega climbed back up the lighting truss again. Omega had a microphone as he promised that the next time they have a chance they will put Don Callis six-feet down under. That gave Omega an idea for a match at Grand Slam Australia on February 15 for a tag team match against Kyle Fletcher and Takeshita.
