AEW is scrambling to adjust tonight’s Dynamite lineup after extreme winter weather caused flight cancellations, forcing Tony Khan to pull a major match from the show.

Khan took to X just an hour before showtime to confirm that Samoa Joe vs. Nick Wayne has been postponed due to travel issues.

“Due to flight cancelations from winter weather, we must postpone tonight’s @SamoaJoe vs. @thenickwayne match to a future date,” Khan announced. “The match will be rescheduled, + we’re going to all come together to have a great show tonight, it starts very soon.”

Moments later, Khan followed up with another update, confirming that Hangman Adam Page will be in action on tonight’s AEW Dynamite. “TONIGHT, Wednesday, 1/22 Knoxville, TN 8pm ET/7pm CT on TBS + Max Wednesday Night #AEWDynamite.”

AEW has been dealing with travel headaches all day, with icy roads and canceled flights preventing some talent from getting to Knoxville, Tennessee in time for the live broadcast. Earlier, Khan reassured fans that AEW would make any necessary adjustments to keep the show running smoothly.

Despite losing a marquee match, Khan has promised that AEW Dynamite will still deliver, with action kicking off at 8pm ET/7pm CT on TBS and Max.
