The January 21 episode of WWE NXT was quite an episode, and it started off with a newsworthy moment as Corey Graves showed up on NXT once again. He also had a special message to deliver to fans.

Corey Graves returned to WWE NXT for New Year’s Evil. All seemed to be well, but on January 13, Corey Graves shared his thoughts on social media about the changes and challenges he has faced in his WWE journey. Graves opened up with a personal message, encouraging fans to consider his perspective.

The Savior of Misbehavior wrote, “Imagine chasing your dream. Then being TOLD (not deciding) that you’re no longer physically able to pursue your dream. Then you dedicate your life to something ‘dream adjacent’ and being pretty fucking awesome at it. And then, when it’s time to enjoy the fruits of your labor…” Graves was reflecting on his forced retirement from in-ring competition due to injuries that ended his wrestling career, and then how he was ripped off the main roster commentary table. After that, Corey Graves wasn’t on NXT.

It was expected that Corey Graves would be back on commentary this week. When the show started, Vic Joseph was quick to point out that Graves was back.

Vic Joseph told fans that they didn’t have to adjust their television sets, because they were not seeing an illusion. Corey Graves was in deed back in the saddle alongside Joseph and Booker T. Then Corey Graves announced that he is back, and exactly where he wants to be.

Corey Graves will not be addressing the controversy that was started when he took a short break from his new assignment. Now he is back, and apparently, he’s right where he wants to be.
