PCO just made sure his departure from TNA Wrestling won’t be forgotten anytime soon. The former TNA Digital Media Champion caused a stir at The People vs. GCW when he pulled out the championship and smashed it with a sledgehammer—except it didn’t actually break.

Sources within GCW via Fightful Select, PCO went into business for himself, taking the mic and cutting a promo before ring announcer Emil Jay stepped in and the show abruptly cut to a video. GCW officials reportedly had no idea PCO was planning to do this and said he made it seem like his actions were part of an ongoing TNA storyline. However, they quickly realized it wasn’t the case.

Over at TNA, the reaction was even stronger. Those within the company were reportedly shocked by PCO’s actions, as he was scheduled to finish up at this week’s TNA tapings in San Antonio. His contract had already expired at the end of 2024, but he was still set to drop the title before leaving.

Now, TNA sources say the company was livid over the situation. Adding another twist, TNA claims that PCO actually destroyed a replica belt, not the real championship, which is still in their possession. They also believe his frustration over not getting a contract renewal played a role in the incident.

Regardless of what led to it, this situation has left PCO’s future with TNA completely dead. At this point, he isn’t expected back, and the fallout from this stunt will likely follow him wherever he goes next.
