Penta’s Status Revealed for January 20 WWE RAW

Penta’s WWE run is already picking up steam, and it looks like he’s not slowing down anytime soon. After making his long-awaited debut on the January 13 episode of RAW, the former AEW star is officially set to compete again tonight.

According to WrestleVotes, “Following his outstanding debut last Monday night, sources confirm Penta is set to compete tonight on RAW.” This news comes after his impactful first match, where he took down Chad Gable and immediately made his presence felt in WWE.

Penta’s WWE deal was reportedly locked in weeks ago after his AEW contract expired on December 1. While early plans had him teaming with Rey Mysterio against The New Day, that idea was scrapped, leading to a singles showcase instead. His debut wasn’t just about the in-ring action either—Penta was backstage mingling with talent, taking part in photo shoots, and soaking in the moment with his family.

There was some chatter about his segment running over time, but sources within WWE downplayed any supposed backstage heat. If anything, the locker room was excited to have him on board, and his first night in WWE was treated as a major milestone.

Now, all eyes are on what’s next for Penta as he steps back into the ring tonight on RAW. WWE clearly has big plans for him, and after last week’s debut, expectations are through the roof.
