The January 20 episode of WWE RAW went down in the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas. With the Royal Rumble coming up on February 1, that was certainly a big focus during the show.

CM Punk made it clear that he wants to win the 2025 Royal Rumble match in Indianapolis. The Second City Savior was on hand in Texas to further his journey toward Lucas Oil Stadium.

During the close of the second hour of RAW this week, CM Punk made his way out to speak with Jackie Redmond for an interview. He said it’s great to be alive on a Monday night in Dallas, Texas, and that got the fans going.

It didn’t take long to address CM Punk’s purpose on the show this week. CM Punk said that he is the maker of history. He just headlined the first RAW on Netflix. It’s all about what have you done for me lately, and he keeps proving himself. He said the stakes are high, and the pressure is on. That is when CM Punk plans to come alive, as he proclaimed that nobody can beat him while he’s at his best.

CM Punk said that he “can’t see” John Cena throwing him over the top rope at the Royal Rumble. He also shaded Roman Reigns by saying that the OTC needed him at WarGames. He also stated that he would throw Hulk Hogan’s “dusty ass” over the top rope if he was in the match, and that draw a pop from fans.

Punk plans to celebrate at the end of the 2025 Royal Rumble match, as he points at the WrestleMania 41 sign. That being said, Punk is very motivated and more than ready for Lucas Oil Stadium on February 1.
