After weeks of confrontations, Josh Alexander and Mike Santana face off in what promises to be a hard-hitting affair at TNA Genesis. Considering it’s an I Quit match, fans can expect both of them to take each other to the absolute limit no matter what.
Tessa Blanchard came back to TNA Wrestling last year and immediately attacked Jordynne Grace, making it clear she has a lot of unfinished business with Grace. The two are now set to square off against each other at Genesis, in what will be Blanchard’s first TNA match in over four years. It remains to be seen whether Blanchard has what it takes to beat Grace and cement her spot in the Knockouts division.
Nic Nemeth will defend his TNA World Championship against Joe Hendry in the main event of the Genesis pay-per-view. After Hendry earned his No. 1 contender spot at Final Resolution, tensions between the two reached a boiling point on iMPACT when Ryan Nemeth’s interference led to Hendry being laid out by a Superkick. This might be Hendry’s last chance at winning the TNA World Title, so fans are definitely rooting for him to become the TNA World Champion after months of hard work.
Eddie Edwards and Brian Myers of The System will be facing off against Steve Maclin & Eric Young in a tag team match at Genesis. Tensions are at an all-time high between the two teams, so fans are curious to see who will be victorious at the event.
