Ex-WWE Star Baron Corbin Set for GCW Debut in Brutal Bloodsport Showdown

Tom Pestock, formerly known as Baron Corbin during his WWE days, is gearing up for his first post-WWE appearance.

Pestock will face Josh “The Warmaster” Barnett in a Bloodsport rules match at The People vs. GCW on January 19, 2025, at the iconic Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City.

This debut marks Pestock’s return to the ring since his WWE departure in November 2024. A combat sports powerhouse, Pestock comes in fresh off a championship win at the IBJJF Tampa International Jiu-Jitsu Tournament and is known for his Golden Gloves boxing credentials.

Across the ring, Josh Barnett brings his own brand of intensity as a former UFC Heavyweight Champion and expert catch wrestler. The match promises to be a no-holds-barred clash of combat sports titans.
