Logan Paul took to WWE like a fish to water when he became a Superstar. As a former United States Champion, his reign put him up there with the greats. When it came to WWE RAW’s big January 6 debut on Netflix, Paul was only shown briefly in the crowd.
Some fans thought that it was odd Logan Paul was only shown as a waving face in the crowd during the Netflix debut. Kevin Nash shared his thoughts on Logan Paul and the WWE Raw on Netflix premiere during a recent episode of his Kliq This podcast.
During the show, Co-host Sean Oliver brought up the CM Punk vs. Seth Rollins match featured in the WWE Raw on Netflix debut. However, Kevin Nash shifted the conversation to Logan Paul, who appeared in a video package and was briefly shown in the crowd.
“I thought, to me, if the best guy you have is Logan Paul, where was he? Is it the fact that you don’t want that association from the Tyson [fight]? [Laughs] Last time we saw him on Netflix, it was f*cking buffering [laughs]. ‘No one named Paul can be on the show.’ If anybody wants to tell Logan I said that, it’s the same guy he didn’t know from the last time I said something [laughs].”
Logan Paul is actually on the WWE RAW roster now. That was made official during their big Netflix debut, so the streaming platform obviously doesn’t have any issue with The Maverick appearing on their service.
Jake Paul and Mike Tyson’s fight received mixed reactions from fans, to say the least. That being said, it still raked in a ton of attention for Netflix.
We will have to see what Logan Paul does next in WWE. He will do it on the red brand, so challenging for the United States Title isn’t likely at this point. It will be interesting to see if Jake Paul finally makes the leap to WWE as well.
