Nick Gage and GCW are practically inseparable in the minds of deathmatch wrestling fans, but their recent separation has left many wondering if the king of the deathmatch will ever call GCW his full-time home again.

Speaking with MuscleManMalcolm, Gage shed some light on the situation, making it clear there’s no bad blood—just some time and space needed before a reunion.

“I don’t know. I really don’t know.” Gage said when asked about the status of his relationship with GCW. “I text, I get answers. We hit a little bit of back-and-forth, but that’s it. Am I sought out to, ‘Please!,’ and begging? None of that. Vice versa from him, none of that coming my way.”

Gage believes the fractured relationship will eventually heal itself, noting that the process needs to happen on its own terms. “I feel like in time, it will heal wounds, and we’ll get back on track the way we’re supposed to be, the right way,” Gage explained. “You know what? I just think it’ll happen organically and naturally to where the time will be right, and me and him will be f***ing cool as we should be, and probably sit down at dinner and discuss what it is. Who knows when it’s gonna happen?”
