Scott Steiner appeared on the sidelines during Jacksonville State’s bowl game against Ohio at the StaffDna Cure Bowl, where he shared plans for his son, wide receiver Brock Rechsteiner, to potentially transition to professional wrestling after his college football career.
While speaking to ESPN, Scott Steiner revealed that his son is determined to follow in his footsteps and join the world of professional wrestling, saying, “That’s the plan. It’s what he wants to do, so whatever makes him happy.”
When asked about the journey to becoming a WWE legend, Steiner remarked, “Be a genetic freak like myself. It takes a lot of work. I did it for 25 years—it takes a while,” mailing it clear that his son will have a long and hard road to become a professional wrestler and will need to put in the effort.
Scott Steiner made it clear he is excited about his son Brock Rechsteiner’s future in wrestling. He’s proud to see Brock chasing his childhood dreams and believes that after his football career ends, Brock will become an amazing wrestler with endless possibilities ahead.
“I’m happy for him, watching him fulfill his childhood dreams. Once football’s over, he’s going to become a great wrestler.”
