Jesse “The Body” Ventura made a return to WWE over the weekend, stepping back into the spotlight for Saturday Night’s Main Event on December 14.

The WWE Hall of Famer, donning his iconic old-school look, hosted and provided commentary for the special live broadcast from Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum, and he’s got nothing but praise for WWE’s new era.

In a statement, Ventura opened up about his experience, calling the night “an honor” and a full-circle moment for his legendary career. “I made my return to Saturday Night’s Main Event this past weekend and what an experience it was!” Ventura wrote. “First off, I have to thank my son, Tyrel Ventura, for putting the wheels in motion last summer. It’s been such an incredible feeling to return to the place where my career essentially began or, more accurately, really took off from.”

While reminiscing on his time backstage, the former Minnesota Governor was quick to spotlight WWE’s new energy under Triple H’s leadership. “The biggest thing I noticed was how different the energy and vibe is backstage,” Ventura shared. You don’t feel a battle of ego’s like you often did back in my day. From the executive level to the locker room level, you instead feel a very strong sense of teamwork and creativity.”

Ventura didn’t hold back his admiration for the company’s current direction, crediting Paul “Triple H” Levesque, WWE CEO Nick Khan, and the team for fostering an inclusive and collaborative environment. “I think Paul, Nick Khan, and the team at WWE are creating a truly incredible and unique environment unlike any I have seen before in the world of wrestling,” Ventura added.

For Ventura, the return was more than just a nostalgia trip. He relished reconnecting with the current roster, saying, “I loved being backstage and sharing stories, advice, and laughs with some of this generation’s new talent.”

Jesse Ventura’s return served as a bridge between WWE’s golden era and the company’s exciting future. But with his glowing endorsement of Triple H and the evolving backstage culture, fans are left wondering—will “The Body” make more appearances in WWE moving forward? Only time will tell.
