WWE star Tyler Bate is gearing up for a return after months on the sidelines due to a devastating injury. The former NXT Tag Team Champion suffered a torn left pectoral muscle and tendon during a July 2, 2024, match on WWE NXT, where he teamed with Pete Dunne to take on Hank Walker and Tank Ledger.
The injury was confirmed by Michael Cole on the July 8 episode of WWE Raw, with reports stating that Bate underwent surgery and would be out of action for the rest of 2024. Now, it looks like the 26-year-old is ready to make his comeback.
In a recent Instagram Story, Bate posted a video of himself lifting heavy weights in the gym, captioned with “CMBCK SZN.” The clip showcases the star’s determination to return stronger than ever, reigniting excitement among fans.
Before his injury, Bate was riding a wave of momentum. He reunited with Pete Dunne to form New Catch Republic and was drafted to WWE Raw during the 2024 Draft. Earlier in the year, he made his main roster debut at SmackDown: New Year’s Revolution, teaming with Dunne, then known as Butch.
As a former NXT United Kingdom Champion, NXT UK Heritage Cup winner, and NXT UK Tag Team Champion, Bate has already cemented himself as one of WWE’s most talented performers. Fans are now eagerly awaiting his full recovery and eventual return to the ring.
