The Survivor Series Premium Live Event turned out to be a nightmare for Bronson Reed, as he suffered a serious ankle injury after performing a splash from the top of the WarGames cage. He is set to undergo surgery soon, and the timeline for his in-ring return following the injury has now been revealed.

During a recent Live Q&A on Backstage Pass, WrestleVotes shared an update on the expected return timelines for Bronson Reed and Jimmy Uso in WWE. According to the report, Bronson Reed’s return is targeted for May or possibly June.

Unfortunately, Reed’s injury recovery could take a while, with WrestleVotes mentioning that his situation is similar to Adam Cole’s, who was out for nearly a year after breaking his ankle at AEW Grand Slam.

Bronson Reed, I believe, they [WWE] are targeting May if not June. So that’s unforunate. You know, not to say that’s the same injury at all but Adam Cole snapped his ankle last year at [AEW] Grand Slam, and he was out almost a year. So, it’s gonna be a while for Bronson Reed, unfortunately.”

Bronson Reed has already confirmed he will be undergoing surgery on December 11th and is currently in Birmingham, Alabama for the same. Therefore, fans will only hope for the best and pray he will be able to make his in-ring return sooner rather than later.

As reported earlier, Bronson Reed will be missing out on WrestleMania 41, which will be the second time he’ll be missing out on the Show of Shows. With a targeted timeline of May, fans can expect him to make his comeback during a Premium Live Event at that time, if not earlier. Reed will begin his recovery journey soon and we hope he will come back stronger than ever.
