WWE Hall of Famer Booker T is sharing what fans can expect from “LFG: Legends and Future Greats,” the new A&E show set to debut in early 2025.

During his Hall of Fame podcast, Booker gave a glimpse into the intense competition and teamwork that will define the series, where wrestling legends mentor rising WWE stars.

“It’s going to be a system to who’s going to come out at the end of the day with the best team, who’s going to put together the best team, who’s going to teach their team the most about this business in a limited amount of time,” Booker explained.

The show promises to give viewers a raw look at the challenges of professional wrestling, with Booker calling it a mix of selfishness and selflessness. “One thing about this business also, it’s a very, very selfish business, but it’s a very selfless business at the same time. Even though we want to win, we know it takes more than us to win,” he said.

Booker also teased the emotional toll behind the glitz and glam of the wrestling world. “It’s going to let the fans come behind the curtain just a little bit and see not just what it’s like behind the curtain, but how hard it is to be behind the curtain, how stressful it is to be behind the curtain, how competition drives you, or bends you, or sometimes breaks you,” he said.

“LFG: Legends and Future Greats” is shaping up to be a raw and unfiltered look at the wrestling world, where legends and future stars collide. With Booker T, The Undertaker, and Mickie James guiding the next generation, this show could redefine how fans see the industry.
