ROH fans, mark your calendars—though the exact date is still under wraps, Ring of Honor’s annual Final Battle pay-per-view is set to return to a venue steeped in wrestling history: the Hammerstein Ballroom. While ROH commentator Ian Riccaboni has hinted that the company is “locked in” for Final Battle season, details have been scarce until now.

According to reports from Fightful Select and Mat Men Radio’s Andrew Zarian, the Hammerstein Ballroom is the planned location for this year’s Final Battle. The iconic venue, located in New York City, has hosted numerous ROH events over the years, including multiple Final Battle shows from 2008 through 2018. This return would mark ROH’s first time back at Hammerstein since 2019 and its first in the Tony Khan era, which began in 2022.

For wrestling history buffs, the Hammerstein Ballroom holds special significance. It was a mainstay for ECW during its later years and served as the venue for WWE’s ECW One Night Stand events in 2005 and 2006. More recently, GCW held a show there in 2022 and plans to return in January 2025.

Reports suggest that Final Battle is likely to take place the week before Christmas, bringing a touch of nostalgia and excitement back to the beloved venue.
