Grayson Waller is rapidly becoming one of WWE’s most electrifying superstars today, known for his bold remarks and outrageous character. He is a proud Australian and it appears he will return to Australia to compete in an event next month.

In 2024, WWE has expanded its collaboration with various promotions, a significant shift from its previous business practices under Vince McMahon. That’s why Grayson Waller is set for a notable appearance outside WWE, marking a return to his roots.

As announced on Twitter, Grayson Waller will compete at PWA Black Label’s Grand Final event, a two-day spectacle starting on October 12 at the Metro Theatre in Sydney, Australia.

Waler will face Jimmy Townsend, someone with whom Waller has a close history. In a video from PWA Black Label, Waller reminisced about mentoring Townsend and emphasized that he will not hold back in their upcoming match.

''🚨⚔️ COLOSSEUM SATURDAY ⚔️🚨 JIMMY TOWNSEND VS GRAYSON WALLER IS ON Can @prefectjimmy swim? Or will he sink? Find out OCTOBER 12 ⚔️ PWA's GRAND FINAL ⚔️ Metro Theatre, Sydney 📍 October 12-13 📅 GET TIX NOW 🎟️ http://tinyurl.com/pwacolosseum24tix @GraysonWWE''

Waller, originally known as Matty Wahlberg, joined PWA in 2017 and stayed with the promotion until signing with WWE in early 2021. The two have only faced each other once before in PWA, with Waller winning their January 2021 encounter. Therefore, we’ll have to see how Waller will fare against Townsend this time around.
