After Roman Reigns’ absence following WrestleMania 40, Solo Sikoa stepped up as the leader of The Bloodline. However, Reigns made a dramatic comeback at SummerSlam, decisively taking down Sikoa. Reigns has now been advertised for the August 16th edition of SmackDown.
WWE’s 2024 SummerSlam ended with a dramatic Bloodline Rules match for the Undisputed WWE Title. Cody Rhodes defeated Solo Sikoa, thanks in part to some help from Original Tribal Chief.
Roman Reigns made a surprise return at SummerSlam, targeting Solo Sikoa rather than Cody Rhodes. Reigns delivered a Superman punch and a vicious spear to Sikoa before retreating backstage, which played a key role in Rhodes retaining his championship.
It was then confirmed that Reigns would make an appearance on the August 9th edition of Friday Night SmackDown. However, it’s clearly not stopping there as the Kia Center took to its Facebook page and announced that Roman Reigns will be appearing on the August 16th edition of Friday Night SmackDown as well.
”JUST ANNOUNCED
: Roman Reigns returns to Friday Night SmackDown at Kia Center on Aug. 16! Limited tickets still available, purchase now!”
We will have to wait and see whether Roman Reigns will lay waste to the entirety of the new Bloodline in the upcoming weeks of Friday Night SmackDown, as it’s quite clear he has a lot of unfinished business with them.
