AEW Star Suffered Injury During 7/6 Collision

AEW boasts a roster filled with talent, though not all stars are frequently seen on television. One such star is Riho, who recently made her return to AEW television. Unfortunately, it appears that Riho suffered an injury during this week’s episode of Collision.

In case you forgot, Riho made her return during last week’s episode of AEW Collision, as she confronted Serena Deeb, making it clear the two will be engaging in a feud. It was her first appearance since the AEW Dynamite: Big Business episode in March.

During the July 6th episode of AEW Collision, Riho squared off against Lady Frost in a singles match and Riho managed to win. According to Fightful Select, Riho sustained an injury during her match on AEW Collision this past Saturday.

Riho was set to begin a feud with Serena Deeb, but the injury has cast uncertainty on her availability. Prior to this, Riho had been absent from AEW television for four months. There’s currently no word on how long she might be sidelined.

This is certainly unfortunate news for fans of Riho who definitely wanted to see her engage in a proper feud with Serena Deeb on AEW television. We’ll have to wait and see when Riho will return to AEW television and compete again.
