The world of professional wrestling has seen many wrestlers passing away for one reason or the other over the past few years. That is why we are sad to report that indie wrestler James Castle has passed away at the age of 35 after a battle with Leukaemia.

Revolution Pro took to Twitter and announced the passing of Jamie Stacey, also known as James Castle, after a four-year battle with Leukaemia. Jamie, a former tag team Champion, was highly regarded for his talent in the ring. He was the first wrestler trained from scratch at their Portsmouth School and played a crucial role behind the scenes in the establishment of RevPro.

Described as a truly wonderful human being, Jamie was remembered as a warrior and a fighter, noted for his intelligence and charisma inside the RevPro ring. RevPro acknowledged that Jamie’s contributions were instrumental in their existence today.

”We are saddened to share the loss of our dear friend Jamie Stacey aka. James Castle after a 4 year battle with Leukaemia.

A former tag team Champion, Jamie was a super talent in the ring. The first wrestler trained from scratch at our Portsmouth School & without his help behind the scenes RevPro would not be here today.

A truly wonderful human being.

A warrior. A fighter. The most interesting & intelligent man to ever step foot inside a RevPro ring

There are so many stories to tell and we will make sure they are all told.

We love you and will make sure you are remembered forever.”

Our hearts are heavy with the passing of indie wrestling talent James Castle, who bravely fought Leukaemia for four years. Revered for his skill and contributions to Revolution Pro, Jamie Stacey’s legacy extends beyond the ring, where he was integral to the promotion’s foundation and cherished for his intelligence and charisma. As we honor his memory, our deepest condolences go out to James Castle’s family, friends, and the wrestling community he touched so deeply. May he rest in peace.
