The Lucha Bros have secured a significant victory over The Gunns, setting the stage for the Unified AEW Trios Tag Team Championships to be on the line at AEW Double or Nothing. Afterwards, they sent a defiant message to The Bang Bang Gang.

Penta El Zero Miedo and Rey Fenix triumphed over Austin and Colten Gunn during the May 25 episode of AEW Collision, executing their signature Double Stomp x Package Piledriver combination to clinch the win.

As determined by The Bang Bang Gang on the May 22 episode of AEW Dynamite, this victory means that Jay White and The Gunns must defend their Unified AEW Trios Titles against Death Triangle’s PAC, Penta, and Fenix at Double or Nothing.

AEW took to Twitter and uploaded a video of The Lucha Bros following their triumphant victory on AEW Collision. Rey Fenix and Penta El Zero Miedo made it clear they would be coming for the gold and walk out of AEW Double or Nothing as the new Unified AEW Trios Champions.

”The best tag team in the universe is back in AEW, zero miedo and the Mexican Rey Fenix. And you know there’s no better team than us. Jay White and The Gunns, stay tuned because tomorrow we walk back with the gold, because we’re the best tag team in the universe. Because we have zero miedo.”

We will have to wait and see whether Death Triangle will be able to defeat The Bang Bang Gang at AEW Double or Nothing for the Unified AEW Trios Titles, as fans would be happy if that truly happens.
