While speaking to SHAK Wrestling, Rey Mysterio was asked to pick an opponent for his retirement match who wasn’t Dominik Mysterio. Surprisingly enough, Mysterio ended up choosing none other than Santos Escobar, with whom Mysterio had been feuding for a while.

“If I had to pick another opponent out there, I truly believe that because we tap into our roots, Santos Escobar would be a person that I would most definitely would love to face.”
