AEW President and CEO Tony Khan was subjected to an heinous attack by The Elite on AEW Dynamite few weeks ago, which left him sporting a neck brace. His absence from this week’s show enabled The Elite to take control of both Dynamite and Rampage.

They discussed their attack on Tony Khan and speculated about potential repercussions the following week, questioning if they would be fired for assaulting the company’s most important authority personnel only to reveal that they would not face any consequences due to a clause in their EVP contracts.

Since then, Matthew and Nicholas Jackson declared their takeover of Tony Khan’s role, announcing that they would be running the show. Their abuse of power as EVPs was evident as they brutalized their fellow EVP, Kenny Omega also a few weeks ago.

The menacing antics of Matthew and Nicholas have continued on social media in a recent post on X where they reposted Tony Khan’s tweet, word to word to promote the go-home edition of AEW Dynamite for their upcoming pay-per-view, Double or Nothing.
