John Cena held the position as the face of WWE from 2006 to 2016 but transitioned into a part-time role from 2017 onwards as he has a busy schedule in Hollywood now. Cena is definitely one of the nicest people in the business right now and it appears he even sent a personal video to ‘Baby Reindeer’ star Richard Gadd, which moved him.

John Cena has always made sure to give it his best no matter what role he is given and his Hollywood accolades as of late speak for themselves. This includes his roles in films such as ‘The Suicide Squad’ and ‘Peacemaker’ and even the ‘Fast & Furious’ movies.

One of Netflix’s biggest hits this year is undoubtedly ‘Baby Reindeer’ starring Richard Gadd, as fans all over the world simply cannot stop talking about it. This includes major celebrities like John Cena as well.

While speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, ‘Baby Reindeer’ star Richard Gadd was asked if he got any praise from celebrities he admired. Gadd revealed that John Cena sent him a private video, praising the show and Gadd noted that this meant a lot to him.

”There’s been some crazy stuff. Stephen King has followed the show and written at length about it. I was so surprised, I thought someone had doctored it and sent it to me as a joke. I know that Cardi B has posted about the show. The one that meant the most to me along with the Pogues was actually John Cena. He sent me a private video talking about the show and how much he liked it. I’m a big wrestling fan and a big John Cena fan, so that kind of blew my mind. It meant a lot to me.”

Recent hints from John Cena about potential future appearances on WWE television led to a ton of discussions as well, but it might still be a while before he’s back again. Regardless, John Cena will continue to praise those whom he truly feel deserves it and that’s all that matters.
