The criminal case against Daniel Wheeler, known as Cash Wheeler, has been officially dropped.

According to PWInsider, the prosecutor’s office has filed a ‘Nolle Prosequi’, indicating their decision to abandon the case and forego pursuing charges against Wheeler. However, the reasons behind this decision remain undisclosed.

Wheeler’s trial, originally scheduled to commence on May 20, was centered around one charge of aggravated assault with a firearm, stemming from an incident in July 2023. Allegedly, Wheeler had pointed a firearm at another individual during a traffic altercation.

Throughout this legal process, Wheeler has continued to maintain an active presence in AEW, regularly teaming up with Dax Harwood to take on formidable opponents such as The Elite, House Of Black, and Big Bill/Ricky Starks.
