Ronda Rousey exited WWE following her SummerSlam match against Shayna Baszler last year. Since then, she’s been vocal about her experiences in WWE, frequently criticizing the company. In fact, she was furious after her WWE segment was cut to give The Bloodline more time.

In her autobiography, Our Fight, Ronda Rousey shared her frustration over WWE’s booking decisions, specifically when her segment with Shayna Baszler was shortened due to extended segments for The Bloodline and Seth Rollins. She recounted receiving a creative plan from Paul Heyman outlining her role in the background of a backstage interview.

The plan involved two WWE Superstars giving an interview while Shayna walked into the women’s locker room. Rousey would then walk across the background, followed by shouting from the locker room. Rousey would storm out afterwards.

Rousey was frustrated, especially since Seth Rollins had two entire segments in the ring for a solo promo, and The Bloodline was given a full segment for a video recap.

”Heyman sent me creative’s plan the next morning. It was: Two other wrestlers will be giving a backstage interview. In the background, Shayna walks into the women’s locker room. A few seconds later, Ronda walks across the background. We hear shouting from the locker room. Ronda storms out.

“What the actual f***?” I said aloud as I read and reread Heyman’s message. This had to be a joke. Seth Rollins was slated for two entire segments in the ring. To cut a promo. By himself. The Bloodline had been allotted an entire segment for a video recap of their Money in the Bank match and the lead-up to it. Not a single one of them was even in the building.”

Even Sheamus claimed that many WWE stars were begging to have the screentime that Roman Reigns got. Regardless, Rousey is far removed from WWE, and that is likely for the best now.
