Since the merger of WWE and UFC into TKO, there has been speculation about potential cross-promotion and fighters transitioning from MMA to WWE. In fact, UFC’s Derrick Lewis is in talks with WWE for a potential crossover.

Derrick Lewis, known for his record-setting knockouts in the UFC’s heavyweight division, is actually a massive WWE fan and is eyeing to make a splash in professional wrestling as well.

During the press conference for UFC Fight Night, “The Black Beast” was asked about a possible collaboration with WWE. Lewis revealed that he’s been in talks with the wrestling company and mentioned that there were plans to work with WWE earlier in the year, back in February.

“Yeah, we are actually in talks right now and we’ve been talking for a few months now. I was supposed to go down there in February to check everything out.”

When asked about his finisher in the WWE ring, Derrick Lewis stated that it would be similar to something that WWE Hall of Famer Rikishi did, which was his iconic stinkface.

“It had to be something like Rikishi you know, you might see it man you know somehow I like taking off my shorts so we might see something like that.”

We will have to wait and see whether Derrick Lewis will make his way to WWE eventually, as UFC stars have proven they are able to transition into professional wrestling.
