Drew Gulak’s First Remarks After WWE Release

Drew Gulak’s exit from WWE after Ronda Rousey accused him of inappropriate conduct led to a ton of discussion among wrestling fans. Rousey claimed that Gulak grabbed the string of her sweatpants without permission. He was released by WWE last year and now he gave his first remarks after his release.

During an interview on NewsNation, Ronda Rousey explicitly implicated Drew Gulak, recounting the incident where she confronted him for his actions. She described the encounter.

“Drew Gulak. Drew Gulak, that’s who it was. I confronted him later and I was like, ‘If I ever hear about you putting your hands on any other woman like this or doing anything like this to me ever again, we’re going to have a problem.’ He was like, ‘No, no, no. I’m glad you said something to me.’ He really backpedaled, but it put a sour taste in my mouth about the culture there and what’s considered acceptable on how to touch and treat the women in the hallways, and anywhere.”

Although Drew Gulak’s exit was first reported as part of WWE’s recent NXT talent cuts, Triple H explained that it’s not “release.” Instead, Gulak’s contract is simply not being renewed, resulting in his departure from the company.

Drew Gulak took to his Instagram story and uploaded a video showing his Catch Point Wrestling school, where he works alongside Wheeler Yuta and Tracy Williams as he gave his first remarks following his WWE release.

“Hello, pro wrestler, step up your game.”

Drew Gulak was also accused of deliberately injuring other pro wrestlers in WWE. It remains to be seen what’s next in store for Drew Gulak, as height just be blackballed by the industry.
