Kevin Owens and Randy Orton have joined forces on WWE programming recently. Their partnership began on the March 8th episode of SmackDown, where they defeated Austin Theory and Grayson Waller. Since then their partnership has been making waves on WWE television. Now, the duo will team up yet again at today’s WWE Backlash France premium live event from the LDLC Arena in Lyon-Decines.

Their upcoming match at WWE Backlash France will see them face off against Solo Sikoa and Tama Tonga, marking a significant moment for Tonga as he makes his WWE PLE in-ring debut. However, it’s Owens who will be the focal point of the event as he’s slated to make history.

WWE Stats noted on Twitter that Owens will be the first Superstar to both partner with Orton in a regular tag team match and oppose him in another regular tag team match at a PLE/PPV event. This excludes multi-man tag team matches such as six-man tags and Survivor Series Elimination matches.

The match not only offers an exciting clash of talent but also adds a layer of historical significance to the event. As the anticipation for the event continues to build, fans are eager to witness Owens’ historic achievement and the action-packed showdown. Stay tuned to Ringside News for more!
