Braun Strowman’s WWE release back in 2021 shocked the pro wrestling world, as fans couldn’t really understand how WWE could let go of a big star. Strowman made his return to WWE in the subsequent year and Strowman has now revealed his true feelings about his release.

Under the leadership of Triple H, Strowman was brought back to WWE and made his return on the September 5, 2022 episode of Raw. He was subsequently drafted to the SmackDown roster until he had to take time off due to injury last year.

In an interview with Chris Van Vliet, Braun Strowman talked about his shocking release back in 2021. Strowman expressed his disappointment with and frustration at the shocking turn of events.

“It f***** sucked. I mean, at the end of the day, I don’t know how else to say it—it sucked. I had no intention of leaving, but business is business. That was the decision they made at the time, but clearly, it wasn’t the right one, because I’m back.”

Braun Strowman made his triumphant return to Monday Night RAW following a prolonged absence and revealed his in-ring return status as well. It remains to be seen how The Monster Among Monsters will fare on WWE television this time around.
