Kenny Omega Reveals Reason He’s ‘Done’ with Death Matches

Since his debut in the wrestling industry, Kenny Omega has made a name for his risk taking and high flying abilities. The AEW star has won a lot of accolades throughout his career, and most of them had been anticipated to be impossible before his incredible skills got him on the winning corner. 

Omega has appeared in numerous death matches over the years with a lot at stake, including his own body. Millions around the world love his attitude and never-afraid mindset which makes it possible for him to feature a part of high-flying and hard-hitting action. 

During recent Twitch stream, Omega was asked about his thoughts on the death match between Swerve Strickland and Hangman Page. While revealing his opinion, Omega revealed that he will never be able to do something like that anytime in his career and that he had passed the torch of death matches. 

“When I saw that I thought ‘oh thank goodness someone is doing this type of stuff to this degree’ because I can never reach these heights, I can never be this extreme, I’m never going to drink anyone’s blood. You guys, that’s your thing now, you can have it, it was kind of a liberating feeling like ‘okay death match Kenny is done because we’ve got guys who are way crazier than me out there.'”

Kenny Omega is set to make his return to AEW TV this week on Dynamite. However, the star had earlier revealed that he himself wasn’t sure about his return. Ringside News will keep you updated with this story.
