This finish to Cody Rhodes’ story has been nothing but a fairy tale ending. Winning the Undisputed WWE Championship from one of the most dominant champions in modern history wasn’t something Cody wanted initially. His goal was rather to win the title nobody in his family could hold.
However, with fans supporting him all around the world, wanting him to finish the story, WrestleMania 40 turned out to be a dream come true moment for the American Nightmare. Being the new champion, Cody has officially attained the position of the face of the company and is expected to be a true workhorse throughout his title reign.
Addressing what Roman Reigns has done in the past few years, getting on the top of every chart possible, Cody Rhodes has revealed he has similar plans as well. During an interview with Peter Rosenberg, Rhodes revealed that he wanted to become the most profitable star the company has ever had and that he is ready to give everything he had to become that.
“I would like to be the most profitable talent that WWE has ever had. And I know who hangs in that group… I would like to give WWE everything I possibly have.”
Cody Rhodes has already attained the No. 1 spot in numerous lists related to the business. Getting on top of some more won’t be a surprise now. Ringside News will keep you updated with this story.
