Nikki and Brie Bella, now known as The Garcia Twins, are regarded as hallmarks of the women’s division in WWE history. That said, they left WWE last year – shocking fans and recently, Nikki Bella expressed interest in joining AEW but ultimately reconsidered. With that said, Toni Storm has now called out Nikki Bella for the same.

In an episode of their podcast, Nikki Bella revealed that she had seriously considered joining WWE’s rival promotion, AEW at one point. But she ultimately decided against approaching AEW President and CEO Tony Khan prioritizing her family and son over her wrestling aspirations.

Tony Khan also left the door open for Nikki Bella to join AEW. At the AEW Dynasty post-show media scrum, AEW Women’s World Champion Toni Storm delivered a bold statement about her success and addressed her critics, specifically targeting Nicole Garcia’s earlier remarks. Storm’s statement was charged with confidence, reinforcing her position as one of the top stars in AEW.

In her address, Toni Storm emphasized her consistent performances, questioning why people still doubt her capabilities despite her consistent success in the ring. She expressed frustration with those who focus on secondary aspects of wrestling, like storytelling and “cinema,” suggesting they should go watch a movie if that’s what they want. Storm also dismissed Nicole Garcia’s rumored interest in AEW, suggesting that Garcia chose not to join because she couldn’t compete with Storm’s talent.

How long do I have to do this? Week after week, night after night, before you realize that I am the one who is transcending this business. Just because I don’t go out there and say it doesn’t mean it’s not true. Do I really have to tell you every single night, are you that thick? Too busy chasing people blithering about goosebumps and levels and storytelling and cinema. Go see a f***** movie. Nicole Garcia thought about joining AEW when she saw Mercedes did. You know why she didn’t? Because then she saw me and realized she can’t hold a p*****-scented candle to what I do. I am the one taking this company to new heights, and I don’t even try to, I’m just being me and it’s the greatest thing I could ever be. It’s the greatest thing that could happen to you too.

For every one of you who saw me all those years ago and thought, ‘She has potential.’ You had absolutely no idea it was going to get this good, did you? Tomorrow morning, your headlines should read, ‘Holy f*** was I wrong.’ Antony [Tony Khan], I promise no matter how many matches I win, no matter how many stories I finish, I will never call you into the ring to celebrate with me. Being Timeless means I’m not on your watch. My success is my own, and you’re damn lucky to be a part of it.”

Although there is currently no confirmed timeline or specific decision regarding Nikki Bella’s return to wrestling, fans of the Fearless One would undoubtedly be thrilled to see her make a comeback. Along with her sister Brie Bella, the Bella Twins have left an indelible mark on professional wrestling, and their return could bring a renewed sense of excitement and nostalgia to the industry.
