Jack Perry is currently one of the most infamous names in pro wrestling thanks to his incident with CM Punk last year. In fact, Perry has been called out for being disrespectful to CM Punk.

CM Punk’s tenure with AEW came to an abrupt end due to an incident involving Jack Perry at All In last year, leading to the termination of his contract. Punk would go back to WWE while Perry is now part of NJPW.

While speaking on his Off The Top podcast, WWE Hall of Famer Rikishi talked about Jack Perry and CM Punk’s backstage altercation. He called out Perry for being disrespectful to CM Punk.

“Here’s the disrespect level that I see in that. CM Punk has paved the way, indie circuit, he’s been out there for, what, for 15 [years]? However long it was, man. He’s not the same age as that young cat. So, whatever the drama that that is, when you come back and you’re talking to [a veteran], sometimes you need to bite your tongue and give the older guys the respect level because you can still learn something from CM Punk.”

Some also believe WWE will never sign Jack Perry due to his issues with CM Punk. The AEW All In footage on AEW Dynamite proved that CM Punk was the aggressor as well. Regardless, we’ll have to see what’s next in store for Perry.
