Cody Rhodes Claims The Rock Is Obsessed With Him

WWE WrestleMania 40 Sunday delivered thrilling night of wrestling, highlighted by Cody Rhodes’ monumental victory over Roman Reigns to become the new Undisputed Universal Champion. This epic match concluded Roman Reigns’ remarkable reign as champion, signaling a significant shift in WWE’s championship landscape. With that said, Rhodes has now claimed The Rock is obsessed with him.

The last time fans saw The Rock was during last week’s episode of RAW, where he had a promo segment with Cody Rhodes, where The Rock sent an ominous message to The American Nightmare. The Rock also vowed that he would pursue Cody Rhodes for the rest of his life.

During a recent interview on Good Morning Britain, Cody Rhodes discussed The Rock’s recent interactions and hinted at the WWE icon’s possible obsession with him. Rhodes suggested that The Rock might be more obsessed with him than he anticipated.

“I didn’t go to Hollywood, Hollywood has come to me in the form of The Rock, Dwyane Johnson, and he’s got like… I don’t want to say — oh I don’t know the word — well we’ll say it, like a little obsession with me. So I await his return.”

The Rock is expected to wrestle another match in 2024 before WrestleMania 41 as well. Cody Rhodes also believes WWE’s success would entice The Rock to return to WWE, so we’ll have to wait and see what’s next in store for The Great One.
