Wes Lee, who had been showing promising progress in NXT, faced a setback toward the end of 2023 due to an injury that required surgery. This unfortunate turn of events sidelined him for an estimated 8-12 months, causing concern among fans. However, it seems he remains uncertain about his return to in-ring action.

Following his injury announcement on the December 5th, 2023 edition of NXT, WWE Superstars and fans rallied behind Wes Lee, showing their support and solidarity. Last month he even posted video of himself getting back in the ring.

Since winning the North American Title #1 contender’s four-way match on the November 28 episode, Lee hasn’t stepped into the ring for competition. Instead, he recently shared a time-lapse video on Twitter, showcasing his talent for creating spray art.

In his update, Lee mentioned that he’s making significant progress but remains uncertain about his physical readiness to return to action. However, he emphasized the strength of his mind and expressed his creative energy by diving back into artistic outlets.

Acknowledging any rough edges due to the hiatus from art since 2008, Lee wished everyone a great weekend, signifying his positive outlook despite the challenges.

”Update: Making great progress, still uncertain when everything will be firing properly with my body, but the mind is strong. Having creative waves and I’m diving back into outlets to create art.

Haven’t done this since ‘08 so bare with the sloppiness..have a great weekend! ✊🏽💚”

As fans eagerly await his return, the wrestling community continues to send their best wishes and hopes for Wes Lee’s speedy recovery. It remains to be seen if he’ll make an appearance towards the end of the year, but for now, the focus is on his continued healing and well-being.
