The Rock Honored With Spirit of The Industry Award For Achievements In Hollywood

The Rock was on an impressive run since his return to WWE earlier this year, with his heel persona receiving acclaim as one of the best of his career. It’s important to not forget that he is a Hollywood megastar as well, and it appears he has been awarded the Spirit of The Industry Award for his work in Hollywood.

The Final Boss received the Spirit of the Industry Award. In an Instagram post today, he expressed gratitude to Disney, NATO, and CinemaCon for the prestigious honor. Johnson becomes only the third person to receive this award, following in the footsteps of the legendary Christopher Nolan and Emma Thomas.

During his acceptance speech, the 51-year-old star expressed his gratitude to the industry for the award and shared that entertaining audiences is a passion close to his heart. He thanked everyone for the opportunity to share stories with people worldwide and pledged to continue delivering exciting theatrical experiences through his work. The People’s Champ is currently involved in upcoming projects such as Red One and Moana 2.

The Rock was also recently spotted doing special dance while promoting Moana 2. On the other hand, The Rock is also eyeing return at WrestleMania 41, so we’ll have to see whether The Rock’s star power will increase till then.
