The Undertaker’s surprising appearance at WrestleMania 40 during Sunday’s main event left the audience in awe. His unanticipated arrival, particularly when he confronted The Rock was standout moment. Now, Cody Rhodes has shared his genuine thoughts on the Deadman’s presence at the event.

The main event at WrestleMania 40 on Sunday took a surprising turn when The Final Boss executed a Rock Bottom on John Cena. As the match reached its climax, the iconic sound of The Undertaker’s gong reverberated throughout the arena, eliciting a wave of excitement from the audience.

The Deadman then zeroed in on The Rock, delivering a powerful chokeslam during the main event match between Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes. After his impactful move, The Undertaker disappeared just as suddenly as he had appeared, leaving the crowd astonished by his brief but memorable comeback.

While speaking to Sports Illustrated, Cody Rhodes talked about The Undertaker’s appearance at the Showcase of The Immortals and revealed his reaction to The Deadman helping him, as Rhodes admitted the moment was a culmination of 40 years of WrestleMania. He added that he made a small request to The Undertaker after the match, adding that the whole experience was something he was grateful about.

“When I heard the gong and there was The Undertaker, the one thing I verbally, I might have even said it out loud was: ‘This is 40 years of WrestleMania.’ Gosh, the sheriff showing up, the judge showing up, certainly that energy in the building. You know, I asked them later if you wanted to do a tag team, I could ride in a little sidecar on the bike. Just a really special thing. I’m forever grateful to everyone who was involved on my side and everybody who was involved even on Roman’s side.”

Interestingly enough, The Rock called out The Phenom for future match, to which The Deadman gave very interesting response as well. Regardless, The Undertaker’s appearance at WrestleMania 40 truly stole the show and that is all that matters.
