Miro has been part of the AEW family since 2020 but apart from a solid TNT Title run, he has not accomplished much in the company. Miro has also been absent from AEW for a while and now he revealed his relationship with Tony Khan.

During AEW Worlds End last year, Miro defeated Andrade El Idolo in a singles match after CJ Perry betrayed the Mexican superstar. However, Miro has remained absent from AEW television since then.

During an interview with Bill Apter of Sportskeeda, the Bulgarian Brute shared his thoughts on his relationship with AEW and its President, Tony Khan. He ultimately joined AEW due to the freedom talent get there.

“I love the freedom of styles that we have,” Miro said. “We have people from Mexico, from Japan, from Bulgaria, from England. You just come in and bring your style and fight the way you want to, which I really [like]. What brought me to this company in the first place is the freedom you get.”

Miro indicated that his relationship with Khan is currently positive and praised Khan for what he has accomplished in a short period of time. Miro expressed his admiration for Khan’s creative approach and his constant dedication to wrestling.

“Tony’s great,” Miro said. “He’s creative…his mind is running always. He always thinks about wrestling, he’s always thinking about how to get things better. I respect that. I respect that he loves wrestling…and now he’s carried that too the second, or one of the biggest companies in the world.”

Miro also vows to come back stronger than ever while he remains absent due to injury. Only time will tell when the Bulgarian Brute will be able to make his triumphant return to AEW television.
