The Rock has been on a generational run since his return to WWE earlier this year, as his heel persona is viewed as one of the best in his entire career. The Rock also touted being voted the most iconic WWE wrestler.

In January, The Rock joined the TKO Board of Directors, signaling a nearly full-time return to the company as part of the road to WrestleMania. Though initial plans may have shifted from a singles match between The Rock and Roman Reigns to tag team match featuring both, Ari Emanuel’s involvement played a significant role in spearheading The Rock’s return to WWE.

The Great One was heavily involved on WWE television since his return in January and fans felt he was the biggest reason why WrestleMania 40 had such a good buildup, notably his feud with Cody Rhodes. The Rock’s time came to an end following WrestleMania 40, but fans haven’t forgotten just how crucial he was to WWE programming.

The Rock took to Twitter and uploaded a post, as he touted being voted the most iconic WWE wrestler as per a survey commissioned by 2K Games.

”Absolutely blown away. Love you back. THANK YOU. Pro wrestling is in my blood. Respect, passion, grit, love. 4L – Final Boss @HYPEBEAST @WWE @TKOGrp”

The Rock also showed some love to Natalya after his last appearance on RAW this past week. We will have to wait and see when The Great One will finally return to WWE television, as his presence will undoubtedly benefit the product in the long run.
