Mercedes Mone Attacked Backstage on 4/10 AEW Dynamite

Mercedes Mone was brought in as one of the biggest pro wrestling stars in the history of AEW with her aura presenting to be untouchable. However, things went completely in the opposite direction on tonight’s edition of AEW Dynamite.

During an interview with AEW interviewer Alex Marvez, Mercedes Moné expressed her desire to challenge for the TBS Championship at AEW Double or Nothing. She also shared her thoughts on the recent match between Julia Hart and Willow Nightingale, either woman she would be competing against in her first match for AEW in Las Vegas.

Moreover, the interview took a dramatic turn when The CEO became emotional while discussing her career-threatening injury sustained during her match against Nightingale back in May 2023 while mentioning that she had a plan moving forward.

However at that moment, the lights went out, and as they came back, Mercedes Moné was found to be lying on the ground, attacked by an unknown assailant and visibly in immense pain.

The shocking attack added a new layer of intrigue to the former WWE Women’s champion’s AEW tenure and left fans wondering about her condition and the identity of her attacker.
