Possible Date for The Rock and Cody Rhodes Singles Match

Since The Rock’s return in WWE, his feud with Cody Rhodes has become one of the hottest storylines in the company. Throughout the American Nightmare’s feud with Roman Reigns, the Rock has used his Final Boss gimmick to get very personal with his storyline against Rhodes. 

Following Cody Rhodes’ win against Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 40, the American Nightmare kicked off the 4/8 episode of WWE Raw to celebrate with the WWE Universe. However, he was confronted by the Final Boss who claimed he was taking break but would be back to finish his story with the American Nightmare. 

After it is clear that the Rock is not done with Cody Rhodes, a match between both men is destined to happen soon. A new update from Dave Meltzer via Wrestling Observer Radio has revealed the potential date for a match between them. As per the update, the Rock vs Cody Rhodes is not going to happen any time before WrestleMania 41. 

Extending the feud until WrestleMania 41 could turn out to be a massive decision from WWE. However, it might also push the dream match between Roman Reigns and The Rock for another year.
