WWE WrestleMania 40 weekend kicked off on a high note for The Rock and The Bloodline with a monumental victory, but the scenario completely flipped twenty-four hours later with the destruction of the Island of Relevancy that The Final Boss was guarding on the road to WrestleMania.

The Rock and his cousin, Roman Reigns emerged victorious over Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins on Night 1 of the show. The outcome of the bout meant that the main event title match between Reigns and Rhodes would be contested under Bloodline Rules, putting The American Nightmare at a huge disadvantage.

The match stipulation heavily favored The Tribal Chief, who saw his Bloodline members including The Rock try and end Cody’s story tragically. But Rhodes’ found a backup in the form of legends like John Cena and The Undertaker to clear the field and connected with three Cross Rhodes on Reigns to end the most historic title reign of the modern era and his story in the way he envisioned it.

Despite his family’s legacy suffering an embarrassing loss on The Grandest Stage of them all, it seems that The Rock still has some unfinished business left as he was spotted outside the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, the sight of RAW after WrestleMania 40.

With WWE ushering into a new era with Cody Rhodes as the new WWE champion, it will be interesting to see if The Rock shows up and steps up to him to avenge the loss of Roman Reigns at the Showcase of the Immortals the night prior.
