As WWE’s WrestleMania 40 continues to captivate fans, the anticipation for Sunday’s event has reached unprecedented levels. While the spectacle of the Grandest Stage of them All remains consistent with WWE’s annual tradition, a few notable changes have been observed.

In a recent report from Fightful Select, it was revealed that WWE had initially planned a special segment for the Hall of Fame 2024 ceremony, involving Trish Stratus and Lita. However, this idea was ultimately scrapped from WWE’s plans.

“There was a Lita and Trish involvement in the Hall of Fame segment that was nixed, apparently.”

Criticism arose regarding WWE’s handling of the 2024 Hall of Fame induction ceremony. Placing Paul Heyman at the beginning of the ceremony was perceived as a misstep by some fans, leading to portion of the audience walking out of the show. However, others showed respect for the legends being honored throughout the arena.
