The outcome of WrestleMania 40 Saturday spread a wave of disappointment and sadness across the ‘We Want Cody’ movement supporters, but it was one good day for the menacing Drew McIntyre who might have just seen his own WrestleMania glory moment in coming.

The main event of WrestleMania 40 Saturday saw Drew’s WrestleMania 40 Sunday opponent Seth Rollins and his partner Cody Rhodes battle The Rock and Roman Reigns in the biggest tag team showdown in the history of WrestleMania.

The high-stakes bout saw all four opponents beaten and battered. Notably, Seth Rollins suffered major attacks on his injured knee and broken back, putting him at a disadvantage for his World Heavyweight Title match against Drew McIntyre.

Adding insult to injury, Rollins and Rhodes fell to the wrath of The Final Boss and Tribal Chief, suffering massive defeat and potentially influencing their mindset heading into Night 2 of The Show of Shows.

However, Drew McIntyre, taking to his X, where he can be seen watching WrestleMania 40 Saturday main event with his family and friends, acknowledged the events including his opponent being battered by the match and loss, and proclaimed that his match tomorrow would be the easiest payday he ever had.

#WrestleMania will be the easiest payday of my life.”

With Seth Rollins possibly having multiple battle wounds from the high-stakes match on Night 1, it will be interesting to see if Rollins would be 100% heading into his title match that potentially puts Drew McIntyre into an advantageous position on WrestleMania 40 Sunday.

Do you think Seth Rollins’ injuries make Drew McIntyre the favorite to win the World Title at WrestleMania 40 Sunday? Sound off in the comments!
