Ahead of tonight’s WWE WrestleMania 40 Saturday event in Philadelphia, the opening match has been revealed.

The highly anticipated event is set to be headlined by what’s being billed as the ‘biggest tag team match in WrestleMania history’, featuring Cody Rhodes teaming up with Seth Rollins against Roman Reigns and The Rock.

According to PWInsider, alongside the main event, the opening match of the night will be the Women’s World Championship match between Rhea Ripley and Becky Lynch.

This aligns with the match order reported by Dave Meltzer last week, indicating that the Women’s World Championship match was slated to kick off the show. It appears that there have been no changes since that report.

In addition to the main event and the opening match, fans can also look forward to other exciting bouts such as the Intercontinental Championship and Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship matches.

Furthermore, matches like Andrade and Rey Mysterio vs Santos Escobar and Dominik Mysterio, Jimmy Uso vs Jey Uso, and a six-woman tag featuring Damage CTRL against Jade Cargill, Bianca Belair, and Naomi are also scheduled for tonight’s show.
