Since the new year has dawned upon, the WWE Universe has seen some of the most surprising returns to WWE in a long time. While The Rock’s return to the company is clearly one of the biggest returns for WWE ahead of WrestleMania 40, Naomi returning during the 2024 Women’s Royal Rumble match was massive moment as well.

Since her walkout from the company a couple of years ago, the former Women’s Champion has been expected to make her return to the company. While Naomi tried her way in TNA as well, her return to WWE was indeed a massive moment for the company and her career.

Naomi, during a recent appearance on The Ringer Wrestling Show, spoke about her return to the company. The former TNA star said that she was always expecting to return to the company once an opportunity was presented.

“I knew I would, I didn’t know when, I didn’t know how, I didn’t know where but I didn’t like ending my journey here in the way that it happened. So I know for me and myself, it could be made right and the time is right and the opportunity presented itself, I would come back to finish my career in the light that I should and the company that I love so much that made me the star I am. So it was never about, ‘Oh that’s it, I’m not coming back’. It was a lot going on and I just had to take a break, step away, figure out things, get some things done and stand on business.”
