CM Punk’s injury at Royal Rumble 2024 came in as a blessing in disguise for the Scottish Warrior Drew McIntyre. While the Best in the World was first planned to be a part of the World Heavyweight Championship initially, Drew McIntyre replaced him following injury.

While McIntyre and Rollins face each other for the first time at a stage like WrestleMania, their feud goes way back. Since his World Heavyweight Championship victory last year, Rollins has successfully defended the title against McIntyre on multiple occasions. However, this time, it feels different that the previous times.

During his panel at WWE World, Drew McIntyre addressed his match against Seth Rollins and the importance of him winning the title. In a very confident way, the challenger claimed that he might leave WWE if he couldn’t beat Rollins on Night Two of the Grandest Stage of them All.

“I’ll play this game. What if? It’s not going to happen, but what if? I’ve been in this business since I was 15 years old, it’s all I’ve ever wanted to do. It was a part-time job in high school through university. I’ve always been a professional wrestler. I was signed to WWE at 21, fired at 29, truly found myself, came back, became the man and the superstar I am today. I’ve never been better. I’m in my prime in the ring, in my prime on the microphone because I’m myself. Social media, nobody can touch me, I’ll tear you to shreds. I’ve never been better all around. If I can’t win against Seth Rollins on Sunday. Quite frankly, I shouldn’t be in this industry. I’ll leave WWE.”
