WWE NXT is the developmental ground for the company as they shape the Superstars of tomorrow. In fact, one particular talent in NXT is getting solid reviews internally in the company.

Kendal Grey, whose real name is Peyton Prussin, is emerging as a rising star in the wrestling world. She recently made her televised in-ring debut on the March 29th episode of NXT Level Up, where she teamed up with Carlee Bright to face Meta-Four’s Lash Legend and Jakara Jackson.

During the match, Grey and Bright showcased their skills but ultimately put over the more established stars. Grey’s journey to WWE began when she excelled as a collegiate wrestler at NAIA Life University. She boasted an impressive record of 61 wins in her last matches and secured the title of three-time NAIA national champion.

Grey initially caught WWE’s attention as a standout athlete under the NIL program, eventually signing a developmental deal with the company in October 2023. Her background as a collegiate wrestling champion brings a unique dynamic to her wrestling career as she continues to make strides in the world of sports entertainment.

In the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer noted that “Another person who hasn’t made TV who is getting strong reviews is Kendal Grey, real name Peyton Prussin.”

We will have to wait and see how Kendal Grey will continue to be booked in the coming months, as the future is certainly bright for the young WWE Superstar already.
