Mandy Rose Sets the Record Straight on WrestleMania Title Victory Rumors

The immensely gorgeous and highly successful Mandy Rose has been making headlines, not with her wrestling skills but with various other ventures that have contributed to her success since exiting the company in 2022.

However, the stories from her days in the ring kept coming back to her and she decided to reveal an exciting one in regard to her rumored to winning major championship gold on the Grandest Stage of them all, WrestleMania in 2019.

In the recent edition of her Power and Play podcast, Mandy Rose stated that there were rumors swirling about her potentially facing then-SmackDown Women’s champion Asuka and dethroning her for the title in the initial beginnings of the road to WrestleMania.

“There was a situation for that WrestleMania 35 where I did have the opportunity to face possibly Asuka for the championship and maybe win it … it’s all a maybe.”

Moreover, she and her partner were also involved in a storyline with Asuka at the time. However, WWE chose to go in a different direction by putting the title on Charlotte Flair to make the first-ever Women’s WrestleMania main event match a ‘Winner Take All’ also featuring RAW Women’s champion Ronda Rousey and Becky Lynch.

“It was when Sonya Deville and I were in a storyline with Asuka. Asuka was the Women’s champion and at the time, they decided to go a different route and have her and Charlotte go into a program right before Mania because then they had the main event of Ronda vs Charlotte vs Becky so plans changed it is what it is you know it’s what are you going to do, maybe that an opportunity, no one really came up to me and say like ‘hey you are going to face Asuka and you are going to win the championship.”

Despite those plans not coming to fruition, Mandy Rose went on to achieve incredible success in NXT back in 2021 and even surpassed her WWE earnings with her OnlyFans platform following her release in a short period.

With Rose making it clear that she is open to returning to wrestling, we will have to wait and see if it happens in WWE or any other promotion that can lure away Mandy Rose with a spectacular deal.
